It looks as though someone copied and pasted this book together. The formatting is terrible and there is no table of contents you can use to jump to certain sections. Definitely not worth the price this person is charging.

    1/16/2011

Since my initial review, the publisher has lowered the price from $6.99 to $3.70. He has also changed the cover of the book. Some of the formating has been cleaned up, but still has more to go. Still no links from the table of contents to the coresponding prayer. Still disappointed I have to say.

There is still no table of contents that you can use to jump to certain sections as one reviewer has stated (a friend of the publisher maybe?). You would have to bookmark every section of this ebook if you wanted to use it regularly. There is a digital prayer book titled “Orthodox Daily Prayers” edited by Reverend Herman and origonally printed by St. Tikhon’s Seminary Press. This ebook is selling now for $.99 and has a table of contents that links to the proper sections (ie – Clicking on Morning Prayers will take you to the Morning Prayers section). You can download a sample for free and see for yourself.

Yes…this is the Jordanville prayerbook (I noted some fairly minor differences from my print version) and now it does have a table of contents. If fact the Kindle Table of Contents if far superior to the TOC in my print version. It is absolutely perfect for prayer use. I am thrilled to have found a Jordanville for Kindle. Perfect to take along when traveling.

It’s the Jordanville Prayer Book but they could have done a much better job formatting this. But it’s very convenient and it’s the one prayer book I’ve been using for years when it was a hard copy.
